The revolutionary EUROLIVE D Series provides a highly efficient 550-Watt 2-way PA speaker system with a 12" woofer and 1.35" compression driver. Thanks to our Class-D amplifier technology and internal switch-mode power supplies, these loudspeakers offer a superior power-to-weight ratio compared to competing active speakers. You get all the power without the back-breaking weight. The sound quality also exceeds our extremely popular EUROLIVE B212A and B215A systems, with the addition of two 200-Watt models, the B210D (10") and B208D (8"), for less demanding applications.

Due to their high-efficiency design, the D Series loudspeakers deliver 550/200 Watts of the cleanest, punchiest audio you've ever heard from a compact system. The integrated sound processor provides total system control, along with reliable protection of the LF and HF transducers through the built-in active high-pass filter, eliminating distortion even at extreme levels. All four models feature an Ultra-Low Noise (ULN) Mic/Line input with Level control and a 2-band EQ (bass/treble) for easy adjustment.

The key advantage of the D Series is its "Intelligent-Design" that merges the best features of active loudspeakers with significantly lower weight. Hidden inside each enclosure is the equivalent of an active 2-way crossover, graphic EQ, parametric EQ, mic preamp, limiter, and two Class-D power amplifiers, yet the overall weight is less than comparable systems. This is achieved through the use of switch-mode power supplies and Class-D amplifier topology, which operate more efficiently than traditional Class AB circuits.

With a D Series loudspeaker and a microphone or MP3 player, you can set up an instant sound system. The built-in preamp section allows you to simply connect a dynamic mic and adjust the volume. You can also use two D Series enclosures for stereo playback of your audio sources without additional hardware.

The trapezoidal cabinet design allows these speakers to be used as onstage monitor wedges, with simple hookup requiring only a single XLR or 1/4" cable from your mixing console. We don't cut any corners on the custom-designed transducers, which include long-excursion LF drivers and state-of-the-art compression drivers, enabling accurate, articulate sound reproduction.

The D Series' built-in dynamic processing automatically adjusts the program content, allowing the loudspeakers to operate at extreme levels without distortion. This is achieved by reducing bass output slightly as the transducers approach their limit, freeing up resources for higher overall volume without compromise.

Powering each EUROLIVE D Series loudspeaker are two high-current amplifiers with a total output of 550-Watts for the B212D/B215D and 200-Watts for the B210D/B208D, capable of driving the speakers to their maximum potential without distortion or damage, thanks to active internal protection circuits.
